Sit and be Fit...NOT!

So lately, I've been pretty lazy. While I probably should be working out for basketball, I'm generally inside listening to music or watching tv. So thanks to an idea inspired by a former military person (I'm calling Ms. Mindy that for the sake of it sounding like professional wisdom), I've developed a new system--DON'T Sit and be Fit!!!!!!! Here's the idea...for every tv show I wanna watch, I have to do 50 crunches for every hour. For every cd I wanna listen to, 25 sit-ups. So one of two things will end up happening. I'll either have enough of it and just go play some basketball or I'll have one sore stomach!I figure if I get the routine perfected I can sell it! How about this for a sales pitch..."Buy DON'T Sit and be Fit for four easy payment of 39.97 and we guarantee that you'll have the toned stomach you've always wanted! We believe in this system so much that we'll give you at least HALF your money back if you aren't completely satisfied!*discalmer* though you abs will be flatter we cannot gaurantee that your thighs, buttox, and flabby arms will change at all"...yeah I think it's a DEFINITE money-maker.Then again, I could always just put down the pudding pack, click the tv off and go do some running....NAW.

For those of you who care at all about the NBA

Okay, so I think I'm gonna start with a not-so-serious topic and work my way to the good stuff. As much as I hated the NBA Finals this year, I still kept up with it. I thought it was really messed up that TWO WEEKS AFTER the Spurs lost, the refs came out and apologized, saying the "foul" called on Manu was really not a foul at all. That call send Dirk to the free throw line and forced game 7 into overtime...in wich we lost. So, needless to say, I was pretty torked about the whole thing. But when I saw the MVP announcement I could not help but crack up. Here's a little play-by-play for those of you who didn't see it...David Stern announces Dwayne Wade as MVP (surprise, surprise). What happened next is priceless. Shaq, who supposedly doesn't care that he isn't the superstar on his team, grabs the trophy from Stern and hands it to Wade. Now it just may be me, but that seems pretty arrogant. Well the point of this blog is to let yall speak your mind too so let me know what you think...if you're intrested you can probably find video of it on nba.com.
